Please read these terms carefully before creating an account or placing bids on MET Liquidation. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1Bidder Agreement
By creating an account and placing bids on MET Liquidation, you agree to the following terms in full.
2Payments
By placing a bid, you agree to pay for the item if you win. You authorize MET Liquidation to charge the card on file used to place bids, and you consent to receiving emails related to your bids — including win notifications and outbid alerts.
A 12% buyer's premium and a $1 listing fee will be added to all auction items. Payment is automatically processed when the auction closes.
Outstanding Balances: If you have any unpaid items or fees, you must pay your outstanding balance before receiving any additional items, including items already paid for.
Possible Loss of Items: If you miss the pickup window or fail to pay on time, you may forfeit the item(s) and any amounts paid may be non-refundable as permitted by law.
3Warranty & Returns
We offer a 7 business day warranty for items that are not as described or faulty. Any issues must be reported within 7 business days after the item is picked up.
All sales are final. We do not issue refunds for buyer's remorse or for any damage caused after pickup. Once an item has been picked up, handled, transported, or altered by you, it is considered accepted and any resulting damage is your responsibility.
Note: Certain listings may be individually marked "Sale Is Final" — this includes items that may be missing parts or have other disclosed issues. These items carry no warranty and cannot be returned under any circumstance. This designation will be clearly displayed on the item listing.
To initiate a return under warranty, log in to your account, go to My Auctions → Returns, and submit a return request with photos and a description. Our team will review and respond within 2 business days.
4Pickup & Appointments
Pickup Deadline: Each won item must be picked up within 7 business days of the auction ending. It is your responsibility to schedule a pickup appointment (or walk in) and pick up the item before the deadline.
Walk-ins are welcome during business hours. Scheduling an appointment does not extend the 7 business day pickup window. If the deadline passes, the item may be forfeited even if an appointment is scheduled.
Business Hours:
• Monday – Saturday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
• Sunday: 11:00am – 4:00pm
Appointments allow our staff to pull and stage your items in advance, making your pickup faster and more efficient. You may schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments through your account dashboard.
5Notifications
If you win an auction, we will send a notification to the email address associated with your account. Please whitelist no-reply@metliquidations.com to ensure delivery.
You may also opt in to SMS (text message) notifications for outbid alerts, auction ending alerts, and win notifications. Manage your notification preferences in your account profile.
Emails and order confirmations may take up to 24 hours to appear. You can always view your won items in the My Auctions section of your dashboard.
6Account Holds, Forfeitures & Bans
Certain actions may result in forfeiture of items, account holds, or a ban (temporary or permanent) at our sole discretion:
• Not paying for won items (including unpaid invoices)
• Not picking up items within the 7 business day window
• Unpaid outstanding balances — any unpaid items or fees may trigger an account hold and prevent pickup of all items, including already-paid items
• Multiple missed pickup appointments, especially in combination with unpaid balances
• Rude, abusive, or threatening behavior toward staff or other customers
• Theft or attempted theft — including swapping items, removing parts, or tampering with merchandise
MET Liquidation reserves the right to cancel bids, remove listings, place account holds, or permanently ban accounts at our discretion.
7Bidding System
MET Liquidation uses a proxy bidding (autobid) system. When you place a bid, you enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay. The system will automatically bid on your behalf in $1 increments to keep you as the leading bidder, up to your maximum — without exceeding it.
Minimum bid increment: $1.
Popcorn / Soft Close: To ensure fair bidding, if a bid is placed within the final 2.5 minutes of an auction, the timer resets to 2.5 minutes. This continues each time a new bid is placed within the window, until no new bids are received — at which point the auction closes.
8General Terms
MET Liquidation reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
All items are sold as-is unless otherwise stated. Item descriptions and photos are provided in good faith. Minor discrepancies may exist between listing photos and actual items.
MET Liquidation is not responsible for items damaged during buyer transportation or storage after pickup.
